New student
Mar. 25th, 2007 11:41 amHey guys, I've just been informed that we have a new student joining us today. Terry and Julio were successful on their search for Janet Van Dyne, the missing girl, today. Turns out that while she'd manifested a few years ago, a new aspect of her power developed on the camping trip with her friends. So please please please...don't squish the new student. She's about an inch tall at the moment and is able to fly around, so just be careful. Her voice is also too soft for anyone but Terry to hear her. Due to this, she'll be staying in Terry's room right now. Wait...Kyle maybe you should see if her voice registers for you? We're working on some ways that the rest of y'all will be able to hear her.

Date: 2007-03-25 04:50 pm (UTC)Welcome to the school, Janet. Apologies if I took an ignorant swat at you the other day. Alas, there is some tragedy in your addition. I believe measuring at one inch places you safely in the lead, over even Yvette, for the coveted position "Most Diminutive Amongst Diminutive Adolescent Girls."

By the way, I'm Monet. I'm about the only sane, normal one here.

Date: 2007-03-26 08:05 am (UTC)But give me your leg and waist measurements? I have some bias binding that's about half an inch wide. I can make you some wrap skirts that are about half an inch long? You'd just have to tie them shut, I'm afraid. Seams are too hard to do on that scale, which rules out pants.
You have wings, too, don't you? That makes shirts complicated. Something that you can wrap around, I guess. I've got some silk ribbons. You'd make a sort of halter top -sart with it behind your neck, and wind it around in front of you, crossing over the small of your back and then back around to tie it at your stomach. Then ooh! Belts! You're little enough that embroidery floss would make a belt, at least. Big belts are in right now, which is something.
Can you sew at all? If you can, you might be able to make yourself something, since we can't do seams that little. I just tried and it doesn't work. But I'll do you up some skirts and psuedo-halter tops tomorrow. And some ...ponchos, I guess, for warmth?
There's a little part of me that's curled up in horror at the tought of dressing someone in ponchos and halter tops. I am taking you shopping once you're back to normal just so I can remedy the horror that is halter tops and ponchos. I aplogise profusely for inflicting them on you, too.
...wonder if we can get Forge to invent a shrinking ray? We could shrink you some gorgeous shoes and things that way.
