Prom!!!!

As you all know, prom is coming in a little over two weeks on May 5th. In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the theme will...well, deal with the other side of that conflict. I hope y'all enjoy the C'est Si Bon theme as we bring a little bit of Paris to y'all for a night.

So far I have the following people signed up as chaperones:

Garrison (you don't remember signing up? consider this payback for the field trip) Bah, excuses excuses

Are there any other victims volunters? Remember, even adults don't have to volunteer to chaperone to attend, but it is appreciated :)

I'm not sure 'gave' is how he would have described it. Possible 'sacrificed his boss' or 'threw it in your direction as he ran' or 'cowered behind a slip of paper and the knowledge that he wasn't your prime target'. If I remember right, Jamie took pity on him and hid him in the ballroom until you'd moved on.

My mother was trying to plan Scott's and my wedding and called me once, asking why all of the caterers in Westchester were refusing to work at the mansion and she was going to have to bring someone in from Fairfield or Putnam.

So not. I spent forty minutes on the phone with my mother over that one, which is why I'm giving you hell.

Although, in retrospect, my mother may have been her own reason why they wouldn't work for her. That or they took the facts "over bearing mother calling instead of bride" and "located at Xavier's" and put two and two together to get "RUN!"

You'd think the twins would be enough for her as far as grand children went. My sister was supposed to have saved me by providing her with both boy and girl in one fel swoop. But noooooo.
